IQ BIOMETRIX FILES S4 AMENDMENT

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., April 20, 2005 -- IQ Biometrix Inc. (OTCBB:IQBX), a worldwide provider of integrated law enforcement and security solutions, announced that it has filed an amendment to its Form S-4 registration statement with the Securities Exchange Commission.

The statement relates to the registration of shares to be issued in connection with the proposed merger of IQ Biometrix and Wherify Wireless, Inc.

IQ Biometrix also confirmed that Wherify has consummated the rescission offer disclosed in the 8K filed by IQ Biometrix last month.
