IQ Biometrix Composite Software Helps
Louisiana Police ID Suspect in Serial Killings
FREMONT,
Calif., June 3, 2003
IQ Biometrix Inc. announced today that the Sheriff's Office
in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana confirmed that it used FACES
composite software as one of several technologies to identify
Derrick Todd Lee, recently arrested as the prime suspect
in the killing of five women in south Louisiana.
Sheriff
Mike Neustrom's office stated that, "The composite
sketch developed with the FACES software was a significant
aid in identifying the suspect in the killings of five women
and rape of another. The composite created through witness
interviews is a very close resemblance to the suspect."
